Dr. Ché L. Reddy

Dr. Reddy, a physician by training, is a Paul Farmer Fellow at the Program in Global Surgery and Social Change at Harvard Medical School and Research Associate in Global Health Systems at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. His research examines design and strategy of major health system reform to enhance surgical healthcare globally, with a focus on policy, financing, and innovative health care technologies. 

His research spans 20+ countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America, combining empiricism with theory development to inform targeted surgical innovation, policy, and practice. He uses his research to work with public, private, and voluntary sectors to translate health policies into large-scale improvements in surgical system performance and expansion of Universal Health Coverage. Dr. Reddy studied medicine at the University of Cape Town, received his MPH from Harvard University, and is a licensed physician with the Health Professions Council of South Africa.
