Local partners are building skilled surgical teams to improve access to safe caesarean section care and reduce the number of mothers and newborns who die or suffer complications.

GSF mobilises funding and accompanies local partners who lead the work in their own health systems, so that more people get the surgical care they need. Through SURGfund, our collaborative funding platform, your gift supports partner-led work in low- and middle-income countries.

  • Your donation helps us bring surgical care to those who need it most. Unless you choose to support a specific programme or project (listed as “Fund” on donation form), your gift will be directed to our highest-priority needs.

  • Yes, your donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by the law. The Global Surgery Foundation is a foundation pursuant to articles 80 and seq. of the Swiss Civil Code and is equivalent to a 501(c)(3) organisation in the United States.
